The M.E.O.2 electro-hydraulic clamshell grabs are provided with an internal hydraulic power unit with electric distributor to control the opening and the closing movement.
This controller has been designed with a mechanical mechanism that makes the prolonged use of the machine easier: in this way you can avoid oil overheating, so the consumption of gaskets, hoses and of the whole structure.
The clamshell grab uses two bore suitable cylinders to ensure the grip strength and their speed.
An example of use is cleaning the incinerators tanks.
